Born without eyeballs, Yuji navigates his world using his other senses and gets around the home remarkably well. He responds to his name and can work his way back to you when you call out to him. A halo harness may be needed in his new home while he gains confidence and navigates a new environment. He’s confident, curious and has just the right amount of spunk and crazy. He loves playing with other dogs and doesn’t let his little size dictate his play style - he’ll give just as good as he gets! When he has finished exploring and playing he loves nothing more than cuddling up to his humans and getting belly rubs. Yuji’s blindness doesn’t define him but it does mean he needs a home that understands his unique needs and can provide consistency, safety and support as he grows. Yuji’s ideal home 🏡 An established, stable home with someone home more often than not to provide companionship and help him navigate new experiences. A confident, friendly resident dog to act as his very own guide and companion with careful introductions and ongoing supervision.
