She is an incredibly affectionate, loving girl who adores her people and is always ready for cuddles, companionship and the occasional sloppy kiss up the side of your face. She has a beautiful, soft nature and simply loves being part of the family. Tozzo has recovered from surgery on her front leg to repair an old, untreated break. Her vet is over the moon with her recovery, and she has been given full clearance a few months ago to get back to being a dog. She still has a little limp and prefers shorter walks, but this doesn’t stop her from enjoying life and won’t require any further treatment. Tozzo is calm, moderate-energy dog who is very happy to hang out with her humans. She can be a little cheeky and will occasionally test the boundaries, but she settles beautifully into household routines. She is crate trained, house trained, and can be left home alone without issue. Tozzo is dog friendly! She can be a little unsure about how to say hello when first meeting another dog, and her initial excitement can be a bit much for her new friend. She isn’t trying to be difficult; she’s simply still figuring out the best way to introduce herself. A slow, calm introduction works best for her, and taking the dogs for a walk together before expecting them to interact is a great way to help her feel comfortable and set everyone up for success. Tozzo is a wonderfully loving affectionate companion who just wants to enjoy life.
