🏡🐶Seeking Forever Home🐶🏡 Name: Sequin Breed: Dachshund mix Gender: Female Estimated Adult Size: Small 🎂 DOB: 06/03/2026 🐱 Cats: Yes, dog savvy cats 🐶 Dogs: Yes please 🧒 Children: Yes, 12 years and older 🏃🏻‍♀️ Energy level: Low 📌 Location: South Morang, VIC 🆔 Microchip: 956000019056137 PER: RE100115 Meet Sequin, a gorgeous little girl with all the classic charm of a Mini Dachshund! She has a calm, submissive nature and is looking for a home where she can feel safe, secure and loved. She can be a little nervous in new situations but she has a lovely personality just waiting to shine. Sequin is smart, toilet trained and a great eater! Her previous experience with commands and training appears limited but she is a clever girl who should pick things up quickly with patience and consistency. She walks well on a lead but can still be nervous out and about so continued positive exposure and confidence building will be important. She currently lives with another Dachshund and a Retriever, so she is comfortable around larger dogs. Sequin must have a friendly canine companion in her new home, as we feel she would benefit from having a friend around. She copes well being left alone, her foster carer works 12-hour days and shows no signs of separation anxiety on camera. She is not destructive, only chews her toys and sleeps right through the night snuggled up with her foster carer in bed. Sequin has had limited exposure to cats and appeared nervous but seemed okay. Any introductions would need to be slow and calm. We are looking for a home with previous Dachshund experience who understands their unique personalities and needs. Sequin will thrive with a patient family who can help her build confidence while enjoying all the quirky little traits that make Dachshunds so special. If you have a suitable dog at home, experience with the breed and a loving spot on the couch for this little girl, Sequin could be the perfect addition to your family. 👇All enquiries, questions and interest in adoption need to be via the below link - Please provide detailed responses to the application questions highlighting how your home and lifestyle suit the needs of the individual dog/pup you are applying for.
