She’s the perfect combination of clever, loyal and loving, and once you’ve earned her trust, you’ll have a little shadow following you wherever you go! Salwa is incredibly intelligent and a quick learner. She enjoys learning new things and would love a family who can continue helping her develop her skills. She walks fairly well on the lead but would benefit from ongoing training to help her reach her full potential. Salwa has fairly moderate energy levels. She’s happy to entertain herself throughout the day and settles beautifully at home. Of course, she’ll always be ready and waiting for her afternoon walk when you get home! Salwa is fully toilet trained, isn’t destructive and has lovely house manners. She absolutely adores affection, and there's nothing she loves more than curling up beside you on the couch for a cuddle. Salwa also absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys having a playmate to run around with. She could happily live with another friendly dog, but would likely be just as happy as an only dog, provided she gets the opportunity to enjoy regular social outings and playdates with her canine friends. Salwa can sometimes be a little unsure of things she may not have experienced before, but it's been wonderful watching her confidence grow day by day. With patience, gentle encouragement and reassurance, she's becoming more comfortable exploring the world around her. One of Salwa's most unique features is her adorable little nose! We've had it checked by a vet, who wasn't overly concerned and felt it could potentially be an old injury or something known as 'Collie Nose'. Thankfully, it doesn't bother her and her blood test results were great. It's simply something her future family may need to keep an eye on throughout her life. Salwa really is a special girl. She's intelligent, gentle, loyal and has so much love to give. She's looking for a home where she can enjoy her daily walks, continue learning, build her confidence and, most importantly, be someone's much-loved companion.
