When I arrived at my foster home I was afraid of everything, even my own reflection. My foster Mum was really patient with me. She sat in the car with me until I was ready to get out and face the unknown. Now I've settled in, I'm behaving a little more like a puppy, running around and playing with my foster brothers, though I do get excited and jump up. I love my foster brothers, they're great company, but it did take me a long time to feel safe. I still don't like strangers and new situations, but I respond much better if they crouch down to my level and talk softly. Loud noises and sudden movements confuse me and I get scared. I'm thriving with the routine I have now though and I even like pats and cuddles with my foster Mum. My foster Mum says I'm good at learning things too. I've learnt to sit for my food, I come when my name is called and I only go to the toilet outside. My best future would be with a family that are calm, patient and willing to help me learn that the World isn't really such a bad, scary place. A friendly and chilled out fur brother or sister to keep me company would be awesome. A human sibling would be good too, but they would need to be old enough to understand how nervous and upset I get in situations I don't know or understand.
