This loving little pocket rocket needs a uniquely special home, in a country or rural area with some room to ZOOM and another equally full of beans dog she can do it with! Maude Ivory has made it clear that she isn’t up for living in the suburbs; she’s a stern country girl, taking the paddock over park-run any day. Another dog (or two!) that would take her up on each and every invitation to play AND might just possibly be able to catch up to her? Well that might just be the first thing on this speedy girl’s wish list! Maude Ivory would be better suited to a home without young children as she’s still learning how to keep all four paws on the ground- things can get a bit overwhelming when you immediately fall in love with every person you meet like she does! Typical of being a working breed, Maude Ivory loves her daily training sessions and is an incredibly quick learner. Her leash pulling is nearly nonexistent, and her focus around distractions is improving every day. She’s started on some foundation obedience training but quickly added some fun tricks to her tool belt as well. She has an impeccable “wait” command; knows her “sit,” “stand,” “drop”; and is currently progressing her recall and heeling. Maude Ivory would do best with someone experienced in working breeds and dog training or is prepared to learn under the guidance of a professional. Along with all the bouncy puppy energy, she has shown signs indicative of underlying anxiety which will need to be taken seriously and require intervention if they occur in her new home. As energetic as she is during the day, Maude Ivory is excellent in her crate and sleeps soundly through the night.
