🏡🐶Seeking Forever Home🐶🏡 Name: Lenore Breed: Maltese x Jack Russell mix Gender: Female Size: Small~ 7kg 🎂 DOB: 28/05/2025 🐱 Cats: Untested - probably not 🐶 Dogs: Sure 🧒 Children: Older if any 🏃🏻‍♀️ Energy level: High 📌 Location: Woori Yallock, VIC 🆔 Microchip: 956000018453324 PER: RE100115 Lenore is a funny little ragamuffin, full of beans and always up to something. She's all about zooming, jumping, running and playing, and loves to test the boundaries with a cheeky little smile that makes it very hard to be mad at her. She's been super busy during her time in care. First she raised a litter of puppies, then she had surgery to repair one of her knees. Now that she's recovered, she's ready to get on with enjoying life! Don't let her little size and pretty smile fool you. Lenore is no quiet little lap ornament. She wants to chase you around the backyard, play fetch, have a good game of tug and be included in whatever the family is doing. She's full of beans and would be wasted in a home where she's expected to just sit quietly and look pretty. That's not to say she doesn't enjoy a lap. She absolutely does! She loves affection, but she's also a little lady who appreciates having some say over how she's handled. Being picked up can worry her, sometimes enough that she'll have a little wee. We've taught her that she can give permission by coming towards our hands when we need to lift her, and she's doing really well with this. Any children in her new home would need to be older and able to understand and respect those boundaries so she can be her happiest self. She loves playing with other dogs and would thoroughly enjoy having canine friends, although we don't think she necessarily needs another dog living with her. Regular opportunities to socialise and have a good romp with some doggy family friends would suit her just fine. One extra benefit of her knee surgery is that Lenore is now beautifully crate trained. She'll happily settle in with something delicious to chew, and when it's time for a snooze, she likes to make herself a little nest. Usually by burrowing underneath her bed rather than sleeping on top of it, like a normal dog. We don't ask these kinds of questions any more. Lenore has spent much of her time in care raising her puppies and recovering from knee surgery. Now it's her turn to have some fun and love her life to its fullest. We'd love to find her a family who'll include her in everything they do and love her for the cheeky, busy little gremlin she is. 👇All enquiries, questions and interest in adoption need to be via the below link - Please provide detailed responses to the application questions highlighting how your home and lifestyle suit the needs of the individual dog/pup you are applying for.
