🏡🐶Seeking Forever Home🐶🏡 Name: Leisel Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix Gender: Female Size: Medium 🎂 DOB: 30/11/2016 🐱 Cats: Yes 🐶 Dogs: I'm selective 🧒 Children: Yes, older dog savvy 🏃🏻♀️ Energy level: Low 📌 Location: Thornbury, VIC 🆔 Microchip: 982000364713900 PER: RE100115 Hi, my name is Leisel. We haven’t met but I love you already. I spent most of my life confined as a breeder and was rescued just in time. My carers have nursed me back to health and I am ready to be all yours. I’m the sweetest love bug, everyone says so. There are few things you need to know about me. I do have special needs. I have arthritis in my elbows and knees and other problems with my limbs, so I might need to visit the physio and get pain relief from my vet. I’m prone to ear infections, easily controlled by ear drops. I know quite a few commands and I am very keen and willing to learn your ways and fit into your loving home. I love my walks, my ‘sniffaris’ I like to call them. I’m pretty good on the lead and only pull a bit as I wander around and check the wee-mails. Be careful, I need to be kept on the lead all the time because I don’t have good recall, I don’t have any road sense and I get tired easily. I don’t really like other dogs due to my upbringing, especially on walks, so keep me away from them. No stopping for a chat. I can go to a cafe with you if you keep me close and away from the other canine patrons. I love car rides and I look forward to meeting all of your friends. So what sort of family am I looking for? As I said, I’m not the most graceful old girl so I shouldn’t live with any young children or unsteady older folk I could knock over as I galumph around. But really, I’m gentle and good natured. I get along with my carer’s Shih Tzu but probably need to be an only dog, although, it depends on the dog. I am used to living with other animals including dogs, cats and chooks. I don’t have separation anxiety but I’d rather not be left by myself for long periods, unless I can sleep on your bed while you’re away. I’m mostly house trained and I mostly sleep the whole night. Strange noises I don’t recognise sometimes alarm me and I give a loud woof to keep you safe. During the day I like to keep you company, maybe play a game or two, or snooze on my orthopaedic bed. In the evening after tea my favourite place is on the couch with my head on your knee where you can caress my ears and give me plenty of belly rubs. I will make anyone a loving, loyal companion. 👇All enquiries, questions and interest in adoption need to be via the below link - Please provide detailed responses to the application questions highlighting how your home and lifestyle suit the needs of the individual dog/pup you are applying for.
