This goofy, dorky boy is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. He’s been doing wonderfully with his training and is learning all about his manners, including sitting and coming when called. He’s also a pleasure to walk, happily strolling along on lead and enjoying his adventures. Jemota can be a little unsure when faced with new things, including other dogs. When he’s nervous, he looks to his person for reassurance, and with calm, confident guidance and a little patience, he quickly learns that everything is okay. With the right introduction, Jemota may enjoy having a calm, confident older dog around to help show him the ropes. Any introductions should be slow, positive and guided by his comfort level. He also has a healthy respect for cats and can be sensible around them. Due to his size and enthusiastic “I LOVE YOU!” approach to life, Jemota would be best suited to a home with older children who are less likely to be accidentally bowled over by his happy greetings! And then there’s Jemota’s greatest passion… FEET AND SHOES. 👣👟 Whether you’re walking around the house or putting your shoes on, Jemota is there to supervise. He simply cannot miss an opportunity to investigate what your feet are doing. Jemota is looking for a family who will continue building his confidence, support his training and give him the patience and guidance he needs to keep blossoming. He can get up to mischief when left for extensive periods, so not suitable for full time workers.
