🏡🐶Seeking Forever Home🐶🏡 Name: Frogger Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix Gender: Male Size: Medium 🎂 DOB: 23/10/2025 🐱 Cats: No thanks 🐶 Dogs: Yes 🧒 Children: Yes, Dog savvy 5+ 🏃🏻‍♀️ Energy level: Moderate 📌 Location: Melton West , VIC 🆔 Microchip: 991003003348341 PER: RE100115 🐾 Frogger is like no dog I have ever met. The day I picked him up after deciding to foster him, he tucked his beautiful boof head into my neck for a good 5 minutes before we drove home. He knew he was safe. Once we got home, he met my dogs (a Staffy X and a Pug), whom he loved from the moment he met them. But as for the cats – no. He did not like them at all! It took him around a week to decompress – little pieces of his personality started to shine. He started to play with the toys I’d bought him (rope is his favourite!), started to respond to his name and began wagging his tail when you’d approach him. He is perfect on the lead and enjoys a slow walk or a run. He is friendly with other dogs that he comes across – leaning in for a sniff and a pat from their human. Everyone who has met him has commented on how placid and calm he is when meeting others. He enjoyed his first Bunnings trip and sat next to me the whole time as we waited patiently to be served. He also discovered his love for Bunnings sausages. He is a cuddler – he’ll sit next to you on the couch whilst you’re watching a movie and tuck his head under your arm, or he’ll find his own space on the floor and stretch out. He is allowed to sleep on the bed (as are all my doggies), but I often find that he has moved to the couch or his blanket on the floor during the night. He doesn’t bark unnecessarily but will let you know when he feels something isn’t quite right. He’s an amazing guard dog and is good at protecting his house and humans. He has spent time around children as young as 3, and he responded well to them. He hasn’t learned how to use the doggy door as yet but does go outside when he needs to go. He’s also perfect in the car and enjoys sticking his head out the window to get some fresh air. He would be best suited to a house that has another dog (but no cats!), preferably a biggish yard (or a commitment to take him for a walk/run every day) and a human who is willing to put in the time to continue to help him thrive. He is currently learning how to sit (in his own stubborn Staffy X way!) and is super smart. 👇All enquiries, questions and interest in adoption need to be via the below link - Please provide detailed responses to the application questions highlighting how your home and lifestyle suit the needs of the individual dog/pup you are applying for.
