Eudoria Holmes is a husky x kelpie that is an all type of dog package, be it lap dog, cuddle with a movie dog, adventure dog, walkies dog, running dog, dinner clean up dog – she can do it all but most of all; she wants to please and to be loved in everything, a part of every part of your world. Loyal to the core, she will be your shadow and forever companion through and through. Eudoria Holmes is a quick learner, extremely smart and eager to please, she is food orientated and easy to teach. She loves being part of a pack and has been heavily reliant on my foster dog buddy to learn that the world isn't scary, to figure out how to play with toys and have been incredibly quick to pick up on play queues. She would be best with another dog who can teach her the ways, play to her level and correct nicely as needed; along with hoomans that are with her more often that not (be it at home or on the adventure pathways). Eudoria thrives on routine and knowing that she is safe, that her hoomans will come back and that dinner will be served in the same manner – repetition keeps her feeling safe. As a young dog that is only just getting to live out her puppy era, she needs someone who is willing to put in the time and energy to train her, to help her feel safe but also teach boundaries. She needs mental enrichment daily alongside good physically and mentally enticing walks (think lots of sights and smells). Whilst she is still mastering her non pulling walking skills, she is quick to respond to correction and generally calms down as the walk goes on. Eudoria Holmes currently lives with a foster family with 2 older primary age children, a resident dog and cat. She is best buds with the dog and cat, and happily plays with other familiar dogs. Whilst she has engaged with younger children, she does jump to give hugs so may be suited to the older primary age and above.
