🏡🐶Seeking Forever Home🐶🏡 Name: Dingle Breed: Kelpie x cattle dog mix Gender: Male Size: Medium approx. 21kg 🎂 DOB: 16/11/2022 🐱 Cats: No thanks 🐶 Dogs: Yes 🧒 Children: No thanks 🏃🏻‍♀️ Energy level: Moderate 📌 Location: Hampton East, Vic 🆔 Microchip: 956000016638466 PER: RE100115 Dingle has a loving nature and good manners. Since coming into foster care, he has shown just how adaptable he can be, taking everything in stride and quietly winning hearts along the way. He is fully toilet trained (with a perfect record) and crate trained. His crate is a place of comfort and security for him. His foster carers would love to see this routine continue for the first few months in his forever home, as it really helps him feel settled and safe. Dingle can be left alone during work hours if needed and is not a barky dog at all and is happy to be outside for the day. When Dingles feeling particularly happy or excited, he may let out the occasional adorable little “awoooo,” which is as charming as it sounds. Dingle walks nicely on leash and enjoys relaxed outings, especially when given a long lead so he can indulge in his favourite pastime: sniffing and zooming. Dingles foster parents think he is pretty low energy for a kelpie cross but he does occasionally get zoomies in the garden at night before bedtime (another adorable thing about him). Dingle is happy to sit beside you at a cafe in the morning and loves going for long walks on the creek. Dingle is food obsessed, and will do almost anything for it. If left unsupervised he may help himself to any food left out on the counter - he is a smart boy. He absolutely loves playing tug and engaging with his people, though he hasn’t quite worked out the appeal of balls just yet. He gets along well with other dogs and is quite neutral around them - happy to coexist, but also perfectly content being an only dog. Dingle can become a little mouthy when over-excited (purely enthusiasm, not aggression), Dingle is best suited to a home without small children. Dingle would thrive in an environment with calm, dog-savvy humans, but he would be equally delighted to join a home with a hobby farm or plenty of room to roam alongside his people. His background prior to rescue is unknown, but what is clear is that he is a gentle, affectionate dog who is learning that the world is a safe and interesting place - and he’s doing wonderfully. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who values connection over treats, enjoys calm adventures, and would love nothing more than to find his forever people, Dingle is ready to meet you. 👇All enquiries, questions and interest in adoption need to be via the below link - Please provide detailed responses to the application questions highlighting how your home and lifestyle suit the needs of the individual dog/pup you are applying for.
