🏡🐶Seeking Forever Home🐶🏡 Name: Assiniboine Breed: Jack Russell Terrier mix Gender: Female Size: Small 🎂 DOB: 29/09/2021 🐱 Cats: Untested 🐶 Dogs: Yes 🧒 Children: Yes 🏃🏻‍♀️ Energy level: Moderate 📌 Location: Eltham, VIC 🆔 Microchip: 956000019473849 PER: RE100115 Assiniboine loves her people. She likes to snuggle with us whenever we sit down on the couch and doesn't want to be left out. Assiniboine and her foster brother have a great time playing and chasing each other and she has started playing with some of the doggie toys. We haven't seen any signs of anxiety around the home, even when we leave for 6-7 hours. Assiniboine sleeps at night in her bed beside her foster mum but does jump up for a snuggle when she sees her humans waking. She quickly learnt to use the doggy door. Assiniboine is a delight around the home and greets visitors enthusiastically, but calms down quickly. She will need some training when going for a walk. She is so enthusiastic to greet any dogs she sees, to the point that she pulls, dances and squeals. When allowed to greet a calm dog, she loves to sniff and is very friendly. When another dog, a labrador cross, came to her carers home, it took perhaps 10 minutes of them both on lead before both were calm enough to remove their leads, then they played. Assiniboine would love another dog in her new home but if this wasn't the case her humans would probably be home more often than not. 👇All enquiries, questions and interest in adoption need to be via the below link - Please provide detailed responses to the application questions highlighting how your home and lifestyle suit the needs of the individual dog/pup you are applying for.
